Whitmer Symphonic Band

Time for some of you to play band director. If you were running rehearsal tomorrow, what would you work on next? What are you hearing?  email

A good set of headphones will give you the best idea what it actually sounds like. If you are using ear buds or equivalent  you won't hear realistic bass clef sound. However, keep in mind these mics are hanging right over your head in rehearsal. They are great for exposing every problem, but they don't give you a great idea of what the band will sound like in a performance hall from the front.
